Minimum wall
Thinner walls may print with gaps or snap. Go 2 mm+ for load-bearing parts.
Overhang limit
Steeper overhangs need supports, which add cost and leave marks. Chamfers beat flat ceilings.
Fit clearance
Leave this gap per side between parts that slide or snap together.
Embossed text
Minimum depth and stroke width for legible raised or engraved lettering.
Largest part
Up to 340 × 320 × 340 mm in one piece. Bigger designs can be split with pins or dovetails.
Clean meshes
Closed, non-overlapping surfaces measure and print most reliably. Export as 3MF when you can.
Good to know
How accurate is the instant price?
The price comes from your model’s real volume, surface area, overhangs and height, run through the same numbers we use in the studio. It’s the price you pay at checkout. If a file turns out to need repair or can’t print as-is, we email you and refund anything we can’t print.
Which file types can I upload?
STL, 3MF and OBJ, up to 150 MB each. 3MF files exported from your slicer or CAD program keep their units; STL and OBJ files have no units, so check the “Model units” setting if a part looks tiny.
Are my files kept private?
Your models are measured inside your browser and never uploaded while you browse. We only receive files once you place an order, and we never share or reuse customer designs.
What if my part is bigger than the print bed?
Our printers build up to 340 × 320 × 340 mm. Larger parts can often be split and joined; submit the request and we’ll quote it by hand.
I don’t have a 3D model. Can you design one?
Yes. Our design service models new parts from sketches, photos or measurements, modifies files you already have and recreates broken parts. Send a brief from the Design service page for a free, fixed-price estimate.
Do you offer finishing or assembly?
Support removal and a clean-up of contact marks are included. For sanding, priming, threaded inserts or assembly, ask us first and we’ll quote it separately.
