How much does design cost?
Every job is quoted as a fixed price before any work starts, based on how complex the part is. Simple modifications like resizing or adding holes are usually quick; new parts from scratch take longer. The estimate is free and you only pay once you approve it.
What should I send you?
Photos from a few angles with a ruler or coin for scale, the key measurements (callipers are best), and anything it has to fit onto. Sketches, drawings, PDFs and existing STL, 3MF or STEP files all help.
Can you recreate a broken part?
Usually, yes. Send the broken pieces’ photos and measurements, or post us the part itself, and we’ll model a replacement. We can often make it stronger by thickening weak spots or choosing a tougher material.
Do I own the design?
Yes. Once the job is paid, the files are yours: we send the print-ready STL or 3MF and, on request, the source CAD (STEP). We never reuse or share customer designs.
Do I have to print with you?
No. You can take the files anywhere. If you do print with us, we make sure the design is tuned for our printers and ship it tracked from Ontario, Canada.
